I'm sure you're one of us who is constantly frustrated because we can't get our dog to stop barking. But that was a long time ago, and I had already stopped my dog from becoming uncontrollable! Do you want to know how? Don't be concerned; Flat Pack Sheds is here to assist you! Just follow these 7 simple steps and you'll have peaceful, wonderful free-barking dogs!

To stop your dog from barking, you need to find the cause of his excessive barking. There are several factors that can be causing him to bark uncontrollably:

1.) CONSULT TO A VETERINARIAN

WHAT TO DO: The first step is to establish the cause of your dog's barking. If it's a medical condition, you should consult with a veterinarian. If it's an environmental issue, you need to get rid of the problem.

2.) TIME FOR TRAINING CLASSES
You may have a small dog who is being over-pampered by you. This means he gets too much attention and isn't trained properly. If this is the case, then it's time for training classes or obedience courses so that you can teach him some manners!

3.) GET THEM A TOY!

Your dog may be bored due to a lack of activity in the house. To prevent boredom, make sure there are plenty of toys and games for her to play with on a daily basis!

4.) SPEND TIME WITH YOUR DOG

It could also be because your dog has separation anxiety from your absence in the house when you go out at work. Try taking him out for a walk if possible every morning before leaving your home so that he gets used to going outside first thing in the morning. This will help minimize his stress levels as well as help him become more confident around other people!

5.) IGNORE THEM

The sixth way is by doing nothing at all; just ignore your dog when he starts barking and don't say anything back to him. If he realizes that nobody cares about his constant barking then he'll soon realize that it's not worth it for him to continue barking!

6.) GET YOUR COLLAR

If none of these solutions solve your problem then perhaps it's time for an anti-barking collar? The first way is by using a shock collar that emits an electric shock whenever the dog barks. This stops dogs from barking without causing them any pain or harm. However, this method of training should only be used if you have no other options.

7.) MAKE YOUR KENNEL A HAVEN FOR YOUR DOG!

When you leave or return home, your dog may start squealing and barking in a high-pitched tone. Excited barkers make noise because they know you'll let them out so they can run, jump, and play as soon as you get home. Excited dogs require a quiet, calm environment to compensate for their excitable behavior. When you leave, place the dog quietly in his kennel, close the kennel door, and walk away without speaking to him. Make no noise, speak to the dog, or encourage him to bark. Ignore his barking and leave him in the kennel for a few minutes when you return home.

Once he has calmed down and has stopped barking, proceed to the kennel and let him out quietly. The dog will feed off your energy and bark more if you make more noise.

A kennel should be a safe haven for your dog, that's why we FLAT PACK SHEDS are here to help you with your dog kennel plans! We have different varieties of outdoor dog kennels to comfort your beloved dogs!
